This Cookie Policy explains how maghrebna.ma (“Maghrebna”, “we”, “us”) uses cookies and similar technologies, and how you can control them. It complements our Privacy Policy.
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser. Similar technologies, such as the browser’s local storage, work in the same way. Some are needed for the website to work; others help us understand how the website is used.
2. Your choice
When you first visit maghrebna.ma, a banner lets you accept all, reject all or choose your preferences per category. Only necessary cookies are used until you make a choice. You can change your choice at any time with the “Cookie settings” link at the bottom of every page. You can also delete or block cookies in your browser settings; some parts of the website (for example signing in or checkout) may then no longer work.
3. Necessary cookies (always on)
These cookies are needed for the website to work and cannot be switched off in our banner.
Local storage: __GT_TRANSLATE_LANGS remembers the languages offered by the language switcher.
4. Analytics cookies (only with your consent)
We use Google’s Consent Mode. If you do not accept analytics cookies, no analytics cookies are stored, and Google only receives anonymous, cookieless signals (for example that a page was viewed), which cannot be used to recognise you.
5. Marketing cookies (only with your consent)
We do not currently use marketing or advertising cookies. If we start to, they will only be used after you consent, and they will be listed here.
6. Third-party services without cookies
Some features load content from other providers. When this happens, your browser connects to them and they receive technical data such as your IP address:
- Cloudflare Turnstile (Cloudflare): spam and bot protection on the sign-in and registration forms.
- OpenStreetMap: map tiles on listing and search pages.
- Gravatar (Automattic): profile pictures shown with listings.
- Google Translate (Google, via GTranslate): only when you choose another language in the language switcher; the page text is then sent to Google for translation.
- Unsplash: an illustration image on our plans page.
7. Changes
We will update this Cookie Policy when the cookies or services we use change, and change the “Last Updated” date above.
8. Contact
